The State of Missouri is seeking a data/automation professional to automate workflows, design and build applications on ServiceNow and Power Platform, and optimize data pipelines in Snowflake using SQL. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field, plus 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• 2-4 years of experience in software or application development (low-code, scripting, or enterprise platforms).
• 2-4 years of experience handling complex SQL queries and data transformations.

Job description

Starting Salary:

$56,760.24

The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the candidate selected is eligible for a years-of-service pay differential, it will be added to the total compensation. A pay differential does not raise the base pay.

This position is located at the Harry S Truman State Office Building, 301 W High Street, Jefferson City, Missouri.

Through automation, this position supports the agency’s goal of efficiently delivering insurance market information for consumers, insurance companies, departmental staff, and policymakers to monitor the health of Missouri’s insurance markets.

• Automate process workflows using code-based and/or low-code solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain applications using ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Apps, or similar application development platforms.
• Develop and optimize data ingestion and transformation pipelines in Snowflake using SQL.
• Build and maintain internal and external interactive dashboards using Tableau.
• Perform in-depth data analysis and market research on the Missouri insurance market.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving drive and critical thinking skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field, plus 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Areas of qualifying experience:
  • 2-4 years of experience in software or application development (low-code, scripting, or enterprise platforms),
  • 2-4 years of experience handling complex SQL queries and data transformations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with ServiceNow development or Microsoft Power Platform administration.
• Proficiency with Snowflake data architecture, warehousing, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Proficiency with Tableau or other data visualization software.
