Jobtailor is seeking a junior data analytics-inclined candidate for an on-site Chicago role focused on funnel and loan performance analytics. You will monitor KPI dashboards, run analyses, and collaborate with product and underwriting teams to optimize strategies using SQL and Python.

Qualifications

• Current junior or incoming senior majoring in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Data analysis experience with Python
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
• Candidates must be local to Chicago or relocate independently; relocation assistance not provided
• Experience with BI tools is an additional plus
• Pursuing an advanced degree in a quantitative discipline is an additional plus

Responsibilities

• Monitor funnel and loan performance metrics, reports, and dashboards
• Evaluate product performance and identify root causes of metric changes
• Establish funnel and loan performance metrics
• Develop automated reporting and alerting using SQL and Python
• Conduct advanced data analytics to evaluate trends and recommend optimization strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement funnel or underwriting strategy changes
• Monitor releases and perform impact analysis
• Analyze A/B testing data for funnel or underwriting optimization experiments
• Evaluate experiment impact and provide recommendations
