Role overview

A senior analytics leader is needed to run an analytics product function as an end-to-end system spanning multiple product solutions and deployments. The position blends program leadership with hands‑on individual contribution, setting standards, sequencing work, and stepping in directly when the hardest problems need an experienced practitioner. A core thrust is moving the function toward self‑service and AI‑assisted analytics, where trusted metric definitions let internal teams, customers, and AI agents answer questions without an analyst in the loop.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of analytics products across solutions, holding the bar for stability, maintainability, and ease of iteration over time
• Lift build and ship velocity by enforcing and evolving analytics standards, building AI‑ready context, and improving team structure in partnership with data engineering, BI engineering, and product teams
• Manage solution analytics leads, owning day‑to‑day operations, scoping and sequencing work across solutions, and keeping people focused and unblocked
• Partner with platform and semantic architecture owners to shape the BI platform and metric layer supporting embedded analytics and the move toward self‑service and analytics agents
• Stay hands‑on as an individual contributor on the toughest domain problems, unblocking the team and modeling the craft

Requirements

• Demonstrated program ownership of a technical function: scoped, sequenced, and shipped analytics or data work across multiple parallel workstreams with full accountability for quality and coherence, not just personal output
• Strong analytical rigor with hands‑on depth in SQL, dbt, modern data warehouses, and BI tooling, able to do the work and set the standard rather than only review against it
• A systems‑builder instinct: turning what works into repeatable process, standards, and enforcement that keep running without direct oversight
• Cross‑functional influence across teams without direct authority, with a track record of driving alignment when interpretations differ and durable working relationships with platform, engineering, and architecture partners
• Comfort taking a proven working pattern and re‑establishing it at broader scale across solutions and teams

Nice to have

• Domain expertise in healthcare operations, clinical workflows, hospital operations, or healthcare measurement challenges
• Experience scaling an analytics function at a growing company, including exposure to semantic layers, governance, or consistency across teams, solutions, or customer implementations
• Familiarity with data logic implemented in dbt, data visualization in Sigma, and knowledge management systems for documenting metric definitions and analytical decisions
• Exposure to AI‑enabled, natural‑language, or agentic analytics workflows where trusted metric definitions and analytical context drive safe and useful outputs
