Job summary

Socket.dev in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Analytics Product Owner to define the vision and roadmap for data, analytics, and AI products within the AI & BI Center of Enablement. You will translate business needs into backlogs and support enterprise products including Tableau Cloud and the Self-Service Toolkit.

You bring advanced data management, governance, and platform experience; strong SQL, cloud familiarity, and SAFe/Agile practice.

Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of product ownership within a data, BI, or AI context with strong data architecture understanding.
Experience managing, governing, and scaling Tableau Cloud as an enterprise platform, incl. security and lifecycle management.
Proficient SQL for complex data analysis; strong data modeling and metadata management skills (Dataplex/Knowledge Catalog).
Familiarity with or eagerness to support AI/ML initiatives, including Conversational Data Intelligence, Vertex AI, and Gemini Enterprise.

Responsibilities

Identify and analyze gaps between current data/AI capabilities and business outcomes; document requirements for cross-functional projects across the C4E portfolio.
Act as strategic owner for enterprise visualization platforms, defining governance, site architecture, security models, enablement, and performance at scale.
Design and prototype solutions across reporting portals, conversational interfaces, and self-service BI.
Maintain expert knowledge of enablement products while balancing deep technical understanding of GCP services, BigQuery, and Knowledge Catalog.
Ensure architectural alignment and metadata management across interfaces with internal systems and business processes.
Collaborate with business partners as trusted advisor to enable BI initiatives and AI experiments within governed environments.
Translate complex data/BI/AI concepts into a clear business narrative and translate business needs into technical specs for engineering.
Create and validate data quality tests, platform performance metrics, visualization accuracy, and UAT for the C4E portfolio.
Create and prioritize Features and User Stories for reporting portals, conversational data interfaces, governance, and AI enablement.
