Who You Will Be Working With

At PMG, our Analytics team is at the heart of turning data into strategic insights that fuel smarter marketing, media, and business decisions. We go beyond surface-level metrics to uncover trends, optimize performance, and provide clarity that helps brands connect with their audiences in more meaningful ways.

You’ll collaborate with media strategists, data engineers, data scientists, creative teams, and business leaders, using analytics to evaluate marketing effectiveness, refine campaign strategies, and drive business impact. Whether it’s building scalable analytics solutions, developing measurement frameworks, conducting deep-dive analysis, or translating complex data into strategic recommendations, your expertise will help brands make data-informed decisions with confidence.

Beyond reporting, you’ll have the opportunity to advance how PMG approaches measurement, experiment with emerging analytics methodologies, and explore AI-driven solutions that enhance marketing performance. You’ll play a key role in developing best practices, solving complex measurement challenges, and shaping how clients and internal teams define and evaluate success in an evolving digital landscape. At PMG, we don’t just analyze data—we use it to challenge assumptions, drive innovation, and shape the future of media and advertising.

As a Principal in Analytics, if you’re passionate about solving complex marketing challenges through data, influencing measurement strategy, and turning sophisticated analysis into clear business recommendations, this is the place to make an impact.

What You Will Do

Lead complex analytics engagements from intake through client delivery, ensuring high-quality, timely outputs that translate data into actionable business recommendations.

Design, develop, and oversee scalable analytics solutions spanning data sourcing, SQL, data visualization, reporting, and advanced measurement.

Develop comprehensive media reporting frameworks that connect marketing performance to customer actions and business KPIs, enabling technical and non-technical stakeholders to make informed decisions.

Partner with Media, Client Strategy, Data Science, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to design, implement, and validate measurement strategies aligned with client objectives.

Serve as a strategic analytics partner to clients and internal stakeholders, translating complex business questions into clear analytical approaches, insights, and recommendations.

Apply advanced marketing measurement methodologies, including media mix modeling, lift testing, incrementality testing, and other experimental approaches, to evaluate marketing effectiveness and inform investment decisions.

Use SQL and large-scale marketing datasets to identify trends, diagnose performance drivers, and uncover proactive opportunities for optimization and growth.

Guide the development of scalable dashboards, reporting solutions, and self-service analytics tools that improve the accessibility, consistency, and usability of data.

Leverage Python, R, automation, and emerging technologies where appropriate to improve analytical workflows, conduct advanced analysis, and support statistical modeling.

Establish and refine analytics best practices, measurement frameworks, taxonomy, and processes that improve consistency and quality across clients and teams.

Proactively identify and resolve complex data quality, measurement, and reporting challenges while partnering with technical teams to develop sustainable solutions.

Mentor and provide technical guidance to analytics team members across data visualization, data engineering, measurement, and analytical problem-solving, fostering growth and accountability for high-quality work.

Influence KPIs, business planning, campaign optimization, and measurement priorities by connecting analytical findings to broader client and business objectives.

Lead test-and-learn initiatives, evaluate results, and translate findings into recommendations that support continuous improvement across media strategies.

Stay ahead of evolving marketing measurement methodologies, analytics technologies, AI capabilities, and industry best practices, contributing to PMG’s thought leadership and continued innovation.
