Job summary

Storable in Seattle is seeking a Software Engineer II for the Analytics Platform team. You will build and operate services and pipelines delivering trusted analytics to customers and internal users, spanning Snowflake data movement, modeling, and AI-enabled insights.

Work across production APIs, SQL, data modeling, orchestration, and cloud services. This is a hybrid role based in Seattle, WA, requiring 2–3 days onsite weekly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent
• Experience building production services or data-intensive applications
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling for large relational datasets
• Experience moving data reliably between systems via incremental loads and replays
• Experience designing secure, multi-tenant analytics products
• Experience building BI dashboards or semantic layers
• Experience operating production services including testing, deployment, monitoring, and on-call support
• Experience working with AI-assisted development tools is a plus

Responsibilities

• Build and operate production services and APIs delivering analytics to customers and internal users
• Develop and maintain data pipelines moving data into Snowflake
• Design data models and pre-aggregations for interactive queries across dashboards and AI agents
• Own platform quality through automated tests, freshness checks, alerting, and cost management
• Collaborate with analysts and app teams to ship features and datasets
• Design reliable integration, replay, and recovery strategies
• Implement secure, multi-tenant data access patterns
• Participate in on-call rotation to improve reliability and observability
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve engineering speed and quality
