Job summary

Tinder Inc. is seeking a data‑driven Manager, Analytics to lead the Data Science & Analytics team within the Integrity organization. You will drive analytical strategy, mentor three data scientists, and partner with Product leads across four pillars to deliver high‑impact insights.

You’ll stay hands‑on with data, design experiments, define metrics, and translate findings into exec‑level narratives. Role is hybrid with in‑office collaboration in multiple cities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field and advanced training in data science.
• 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics with 2+ years of direct people management.
• Expert-level SQL and strong Python or R for analysis and modeling.
• Experience with experimentation and causal inference in complex settings.
• Experience handling large, event-level datasets and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of data scientists supporting the Integrity organization.
• Serve as the analytics partner to Product Leadership for four pillars: Safety Products, Account Integrity, Anti-Abuse, Moderation & Ops.
• Stay hands-on with data, conduct high-stakes analyses, and maintain analytical frameworks.
• Define metrics and experiment designs to measure trade-offs between protection and member experience.
• Translate insights into executive-level narratives and guide cross-functional decisions.
