Job summary

Tinder is seeking a Manager of Analytics to lead the data science function supporting Integrity. You will manage a team of three data scientists and partner with Product Leadership across four pillars, while staying close to data and mentoring the team to raise the bar on analyses.

The role is hybrid, requiring in-office collaboration three times per week in NYC, Los Angeles, or Dallas, and involves owning measurement, experimentation, and storytelling for executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics, including 2+ years of people management.
• Expert-level SQL and strong Python or R for analysis and modeling.
• Deep experience with experimentation and causal inference.
• Experience with large, complex event-level datasets and BI tools (Databricks, Tableau, Mode).
• Understanding classifier evaluation (precision/recall/thresholds).
• Experience leading and mentoring a team.
• Experience in Trust & Safety, fraud, risk, or content moderation.
• Strong product and business judgment.
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to stakeholders.

Responsibilities
