Job summary

Zello is seeking an intern for its Data & AI team in Austin to help rebuild dashboards in Omni, craft self-serve topics for non-technical teammates, and verify numbers by writing SQL against Snowflake and tracing metrics through dbt models.

You will handle end-to-end analyses, document work for future use, and learn to use AI tools responsibly while presenting findings in team settings.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
• Able to write SQL against a real database with joins and aggregations
• Able to explain numbers to non-technical audiences and trace them to their source
• Able to self-check work and present finished analyses
• Have completed at least one project beyond assignment
• Document work to aid future handovers
• Use AI tools for real work and validate outputs manually

Responsibilities

• Rebuild and speed up dashboards in Omni, starting with the most-used ones
• Build Omni topics so non-technical teammates can ask their own questions
• Write SQL against Snowflake to pull, check, and reconcile numbers; read dbt models
• Take small analyses end-to-end from question to recommendation
• Document what you build and inventory existing reports
• Use AI tools to move faster on routine parts and verify outputs
• Show your work in team meetings and call out numbers that look wrong
