Textron Aviation Parts and Distribution invites driven interns to apply analytical methods to real business challenges. You will learn and apply data analytics across multiple tools while supporting strategic initiatives.

Summer internships are 40 hours per week for 10 weeks, with a prepaid stipend and mentorship. Onsite work is required for the duration of the internship, offering hands-on experience and opportunities for future employment pathways.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or other related field.
• Desire and ability to learn and leverage new software tools and processes in a self-learning environment.
• Drive to excel in an autonomous environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs data analysis via data-mining and statistical techniques to gain insights to support business objectives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and implement new processes.
• Collect, manage, analyze and interpret large volumes of data while ensuring high data quality; create curated data sets.
• Develop and maintain data reports in Power BI, Alteryx, and other tools using SQL and DAX.
• Work to improve data quality within TAPD by assisting Data Governance efforts.
• Provide recommendations to the business for new initiatives to support objectives.
• Interface with data professionals to grow analytics capabilities across the organization.
