Job summary

Fidelity Investments in Westlake, TX is seeking a Director of Analytics Technology to lead the design and delivery of scalable data models, data products, and measurement solutions that support experimentation and personalization across the enterprise.

You will partner with Product, Marketing, Data Science, Analytics, and Technology leaders to build cloud-native data platforms in AWS, manage ETL/ELT pipelines, enforce governance and quality, and mentor a high-performing team committed to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, data warehousing, or related disciplines.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with Snowflake and Oracle.
• Hands-on Python and modern data processing frameworks.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and analytical data architectures.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Knowledge of BI/visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices (GitHub, Jenkins, Control-M).
• Understanding of data governance, metadata management, data lineage, and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and optimization of scalable data models and data products.
• Translate requirements into robust data architectures and pipelines.
• Partner with architects, product managers, data scientists, and analytics teams to implement data solutions.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT frameworks and data transformations in the cloud.
• Develop trusted data assets and semantic layers for self-service analytics.
• Establish data quality, governance, and documentation standards using tools like Alation.
• Drive performance optimization of databases and pipelines to improve scalability.
• Support experimentation/measurement frameworks for faster learning.
• Mentor team members and promote engineering excellence.
