Job summary

Stream is hiring a data analytics engineer for the US team. You will model data with dbt, build dashboards in StreamBI and Streamlit, and partner with commercial, product, and finance stakeholders to turn questions into actionable insights.

You’ll own end-to-end analytics for the US, focusing on ROI, adoption, and regulatory reporting, while triaging data quality and contributing to documentation and pipelines.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in analytics engineering or in a data analyst role where you built and owned the models as well as the outputs.
• Strong SQL, including the discipline to reconcile numbers and prove they tie out, not just aggregate them.
• Hands-on dbt experience, and the ability to read and extend a dimensional model without breaking its grain.
• Python sufficient to build data apps in Streamlit, or a clear track record of picking up a similar framework fast.
• Experience working directly with commercial or operational stakeholders: turning vague requests into decisions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain US dashboards in StreamBI and data apps; replace legacy reporting.
• Own the US analytics end-to-end and work with commercial, product, and finance stakeholders.
• Develop customer ROI, adoption, engagement, and cohort analyses on a per-product usage layer.
• Take over state regulatory reporting and extend financial integrity checks for US salary data.
• Triage data quality alerts, review PRs in dbt/StreamBI, and maintain documentation.
