Job summary

Doodle is a B2B SaaS platform used to coordinate meetings and collaboration. As an Analytics Engineer, you will co‑own the analytics layer, turning raw product data into trusted, scalable datasets for experimentation, reporting and product innovation.

Work with dbt on Redshift and Athena, build a scalable semantic layer, define metrics, and enable self‑service analytics with Power BI, Hex and internal AI tools. AI is central to how we work at Doodle.

Qualifications

• > Strong, hands-on experience building analytics data models with dbt or similar, dimensional modelling.
• > Advanced SQL skills with large analytical datasets.
• > Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Amazon Redshift.
• > Experience building dashboards and self-service reports in Power BI or similar tools.
• > Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and product analytics.
• > Hands-on experience with Claude or similar AI assistants and AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Model the Data: Design, build and maintain scalable analytics data models in dbt, following analytics engineering best practices.
• Own Data Quality: Build reliable transformations with testing, validation and documentation across the analytics layer.
• Define the Metrics: Define, document and maintain trusted business metrics used across the company.
• Build the Semantic Layer: Evolve a scalable semantic layer for consistent reporting and self-service analytics.
• Power Experimentation: Partner with Product and Growth on AB tests, funnels, retention and insights.
• Measure What Matters: Provide measurement frameworks from day one for product launches and feature rollouts.
• Enable Self‑Service: Build dashboards in Power BI, Hex or internal AI tools; coach stakeholders.
• Lead with AI: Create AI-enabled analytics workflows to drive adoption across Doodle.
