Job summary

Gopuff is seeking an Analytics Engineer to design, build, and maintain production data models powering supply chain and merchandising decisions. You will partner across Supply Chain, Merchandising, Marketing, CRM, and product teams to translate business questions into durable data models and self-serve tooling.

You will own data integrity, transformations, and efficient data access while building Looker dashboards used daily by planners and merchants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline.
• 3+ years building data models that integrate complex data sources (dbt preferred).
• Expert in SQL and database design; able to write efficient queries.
• 1+ years building and maintaining reporting/dashboards in Looker or similar BI tool.
• Strong analytical judgment with ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production data models powering supply chain and merchandising decisions.
• Be the go-to data expert for data warehouse and processing layers.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Merchandising, Marketing, CRM, product, and engineering to translate questions into durable models and self-serve tooling.
• Own data integrity, transformations, and efficient data access for supported domains.
• Build and maintain Looker dashboards used by planners and merchants; retire manual reports.
• Support marketing and CRM analytics alongside supply chain work: campaign performance and channel reporting.
• Identify data gaps, write specs, and work with engineers to implement tracking.
• Automate processes and build data quality testing/monitoring.
• Document models so stakeholders can understand and trust the data.
