Job summary

Create Music Group is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join the Analytics & Insights team. You will translate business needs into scalable analytics, write and optimize SQL, and own end-to-end deliverables; you will build executive dashboards and KPI frameworks to provide real-time performance insights.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in analytics, strong SQL, data modeling expertise, and familiarity with Tableau or Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; Master’s degree or advanced certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in analytics as a data analyst/data engineer/data scientist.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Finance, Music Ops, Acquisitions, and other business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, data gaps, and analytical requirements
• Collaborate with internal data teams to translate business questions into scalable, well-modeled, analytics-ready data solutions
• Analyze and integrate data from disparate datasets to develop niche reporting tables and generate meaningful business insights
• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and reporting tables
• Recommend and implement improvements to existing SQL data models
• Design and build scalable reporting architecture that supports evolving analytics needs
• Design and develop executive dashboards and KPI frameworks that provide real-time visibility into business performance
• Apply software engineering best practices to analytics code (e.g., version control, continuous integration)
• Participate in code reviews and optimize SQL for performance, including Sigma-specific optimization
• Maintain data documentation, definitions, and governance standards
• Other duties as assigned
