Job summary

Swap seeks an Analytics Engineer to join our Analytics Engineering team, scaling our data stack for a data-driven era. You’ll build and maintain data models powering internal insights and customer-facing analytics within a modern data architecture.

You’ll contribute to a high-quality dbt project, shape analytics vision, and support model scaling as we grow, in a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in a data-focused role such as Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or BI Development.
• Hands-on experience with dbt (dbt Core/Cloud).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modelling patterns.
• Experience with a modern cloud data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Experience with version control using Git.
• Good communication skills with cross-functional collaboration.
• Detail‑oriented mindset and a drive to build trustworthy data products.

Responsibilities

• dbt Development: Scale our dbt project, shaping its architecture and CI/CD processes.
• Data Modelling & Architecture: Build and maintain core data models powering BI, analytics, and APIs.
• Data Quality & Governance: Implement data quality standards and testing.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Product on data needs.
• BI & Self-Service Enablement: Develop foundational data assets in our BI tool to improve access to insights.
