Job summary

Loadsmart, a growing logistics technology leader, seeks an AI-focused Analytics Engineer to advance data/AI capabilities. You will design AI-ready models, build analytics platforms, and partner with Product and Data Science to deliver data products.

Strong SQL/Python skills, OLAP, data warehousing, and experience with AI coding assistants are required. This remote role can be located anywhere in the United States or Brazil.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience as an Analytics or Data Engineer.
• Fluent in written and spoken English (resume in English).
• Experience with AI coding assistants like Cursor and Claude Code.
• Building OLAP systems and dimensional models.
• Backend data engineering with SQL and/or Python.
• Python for data manipulation (Pandas).
• Experience with data warehouses and related tooling.
• Relational databases and advanced SQL queries.
• Experience with data modeling and ETL tools.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, engineers, product managers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an AI focused Analytics Engineer to integrate our team and contribute to the expansion of AI features over data and analytics. The Analytics Engineer will design AI ready models and implement Analytics Solutions to our data/AI/metrics platform. You will be the go-to person for any data development for internal analytics as also interfacing Product teams and Data Science teams to assist and advise them in building data products.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to optimize data pipelines and code generation, and develop AI-ready datasets to support machine learning and GenAI initiatives

• Build Data Warehousing systems, reporting and analytics

• Understand business needs that can be solved by using data

• Translate business needs into technical requirements and specifications to support Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering development

• Develop and maintain data models and data sets

• Develop and maintain data integrations for customers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4 years of experience as an Analytics or Data Engineer

• You’re fluent in written and spoken English (please also submit your resume in English)

• Experience with AI coding assistants like Cursor and Claude Code

• Building OLAP systems and creating and maintaining dimensional models

• Working with backend data engineering solutions using SQL and/or Python

• Python for data manipulation (mostly Pandas)

• Proven experience with data warehouses and associated tooling

• Hands-on experience with relational databases and performing advanced SQL queries

• Experience working on data modeling and ETL tools

• Ability to understand business needs, partnering with Business Analysts and Data Analysts, to transform into technical requirements and specifications to support data engineering and analytics engineering development

• Collaborating with analysts, data scientists, engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to evolve data platform and products

• Having a deep understanding of dimensional modeling, data management, data privacy and governance

• A self-starter, innovative, result-focused and team-oriented

• Possessing a growth mindset, sense of curiosity and strong problem-solving skills; you are constantly learning about emerging market trends to identify potential opportunities and gaps

• Demonstrated expertise as a Data Analyst handling large, complex datasets and translating advanced analyses into actionable business insights will be considered a plus.
