Job summary

Puig USA is seeking a technically strong Analytics Engineer to support its data and analytics transformation. You will build analytical datasets, semantic models, Power BI solutions, and automated workflows that empower better decision-making across the organization.

The role blends strong technical work with stakeholder collaboration, focusing on analytics engineering while also supporting data platform readiness and cloud initiatives as Puig USA scales its analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years in Analytics/Data/BI engineering or equivalent.
• Strong SQL and Python for data transformation and modeling.
• Experience building and supporting Power BI datasets, reports and dashboards.
• Experience integrating data from APIs, files and external sources.
• Troubleshooting production reporting, data, and automation solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and modern analytics concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain analytical datasets and semantic models for reporting and self-service analytics.
• Develop scalable Power BI datasets, models, reports, and dashboards with performance in mind.
• Use SQL and Python to transform and automate data for analytics use cases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into practical analytics solutions.
• Improve data accessibility and documentation across the reporting environment.
• Build lightweight data ingestion and automation processes using APIs and scripts.
• Support data platform readiness and cloud data initiatives as the team evolves.
• Assist with data quality, validation and observability efforts.
