Job summary

Clair is seeking an Analytics Engineer in New York City to join the analytics team and help build our data pipelines and trusted data models. You will work with product, operations, and finance to design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT processes using dbt and cloud data warehouses.

You will model data from our products, optimize data quality, and contribute to cost-efficient data architecture in a high-growth startup environment. Hybrid work in NYC with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years experience in data analytics
• Strong SQL proficiency
• 1–2 years hands-on dbt modeling in production
• Familiarity with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
• Experience with cloud data loading tools (Fivetran, Airbyte, Airflow)
• Understanding of dimensional modeling (Kimball)
• Python or R scripting experience

Responsibilities

• Model data from products into analytic tables
• Support data science by building model feature pipelines
• Ingest and model data from new sources to the data warehouse
• Define metrics, data definitions, and governance standards
• Maintain data quality and observability across the stack
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders on data issues
