Job summary

eMed is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join the Global Data & Analytics team. You will build data models, pipelines, and a semantic layer powering reporting for clinical, product, marketing, and B2B operations across US and UK markets.

You’ll own core data marts and partner with engineers to ensure reliable, analytics-ready data. You will translate business questions into reusable data models, write tests and maintain lineage, and contribute to governance programs while supporting client

Qualifications

• 5 years in analytics engineering or related role.
• Strong SQL and dbt in a modern cloud warehouse.
• Experience with dimensional modeling for scalable design.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau/Looker/Power BI.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD for analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dbt models across staging, intermediate, and mart layers on the AWS Redshift warehouse.
• Own and evolve core data marts that feed dashboards used by executives and stakeholders.
• Partner with Data Engineers to ensure reliable ingestion and analytics-ready data, flagging data quality issues at the source.
• Translate business questions into well-structured, reusable data models.
• Write and maintain dbt tests, documentation, and lineage for governance.
• Support B2B client analytics and reporting needs with modeling behind dashboards.
• Contribute to data governance and global QA processes across data marts.
• Participate in code reviews, deployments, and CI/CD practices to keep the warehouse scalable.
