Job summary

Epiroc is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join our Global Data Analytics team, delivering scalable analytics solutions that drive business outcomes. You will work at the intersection of business and technology, partnering with stakeholders, platform teams, and AI initiatives to translate requirements into robust data models and dashboards.

You will design data pipelines with SQL and Python, build modern data platforms using Fabric and Databricks, and create insightful Power BI reports.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in SQL, including complex queries, performance tuning, and data optimization.
• Proven experience with Python and Databricks for data engineering, transformation, and pipeline development.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI for building scalable analytics solutions and dashboards.
• Solid understanding of data modeling techniques to translate business requirements into structured datasets.
• Experience defining, tracking, and analyzing KPIs to support data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to work effectively in agile, cross-functional environments, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into scalable data models, technical specifications, and delivery plans.
• Design and maintain modern data platforms (warehouse/lakehouse) using Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
• Develop and deliver Power BI dashboards and reports, including advanced calculations and visualizations.
• Enable data-driven decisions by defining KPIs and delivering actionable insights.
• Build and optimize data pipelines using SQL and Python for efficient data transformation.
• Drive data quality, documentation, and continuous improvement of analytics platforms and processes.
