Job summary

Pleo is seeking an Analytics Engineer to help build and maintain our dbt models in the new Analytics Warehouse. You will own tracking plans and QA in Segment and Amplitude, model experiment data for analysts, and define metrics in a single semantic layer for consistent insights.

You’ll collaborate with product managers and engineers to create reusable data models, ensure data quality with tests and SLAs, and apply AI-assisted data techniques to modernize our analytics stack.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and dbt modelling experience.
• Experience with event-based tracking tools like Segment/Amplitude.
• Familiarity with Git-based development workflows and pull requests.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt models in the new Analytics Warehouse.
• Own tracking plan implementation and QA in Segment/Amplitude.
• Model experimentation data for analysts and PMs to query.
• Define metrics in a semantic layer for consistency.
• Apply AI-assisted data modelling in coding practices.
• Collaborate with product/analysts to create reusable data models.
• Maintain data quality with dbt tests and freshness SLAs.
