Job summary

Teknor Apex Company is seeking an Analytics Engineer co-op to gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives using Microsoft technologies. You will contribute to projects that affect how business leaders analyze information and decide across the company, including the ongoing Cognos to Power BI migration.

Collaborate on Power BI report development, Fabric semantic models, data validation, and documentation while learning modern BI practices.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science
Working knowledge of SQL required.
Experience with Microsoft Power BI is preferred but not required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

Support the development and enhancement of Power BI reports and dashboards.
Assist with Microsoft Fabric semantic model development and maintenance.
Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot reporting discrepancies.
Create and maintain technical documentation for reports, data models, and processes.
Support the migration of enterprise reporting assets from Cognos to Power BI.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate requirements into analytics solutions.
Participate in testing and deployment of reporting enhancements.
Present project updates and recommendations throughout the internship.
