Job summary

VALCE T@lent Solutions seeks a senior data engineer to build and optimize data pipelines using dbt, Python, and Airflow in a fast-paced US environment. You will craft analytics-ready data models and dashboards that empower decision-making.

Lead the design of scalable data models, translate business needs into reporting solutions, and ensure data quality with strong SQL, DAX, and Power BI expertise. Collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of data analytics/engineering experience.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Python for complex transformations and integrations.
• Hands-on dbt and modern ELT practices.
• Dimensional modeling knowledge.
• Experience with Snowflake data warehousing.
• Power BI expertise including DAX and performance tuning.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced English fluency.

• Build, maintain, and enhance data pipelines and transformation workflows using dbt and Python DAGs in Airflow
• Develop clean, reliable, and reusable data models for analytics and reporting
• Work with SQL and data warehouse platforms to investigate data and implement transformations
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, and DAX measures
• Translate business requirements into appropriate data models and reporting solutions
• Perform data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and data quality checks
• Troubleshoot data issues across the pipeline from source to reporting
• Use AI tools to enhance productivity on tasks

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills
• Proficiency in Python for complex transformations and integrations
• Hands-on experience with dbt and modern ELT practices
• Solid understanding of dimensional modeling (fact/dimension structures)
• Experience with cloud data warehouses, preferably Snowflake
• Strong experience with Power BI, including DAX and performance optimization
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced English fluency
