Qualifications

  • 8+ years of analytics consulting experience in a federal environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Analytics, Business, or Data Science.
  • Strong skills in business analysis, analytics strategy, stakeholder engagement, communication, facilitation, and project management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, data-analytic tools, Visio, and quick learning of additional tools.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct systematic analysis of NSF‑level business needs and map processes.
  • Translate needs into flexible analytics solutions (dashboards, reports, data products) for executive, managerial, and operational use.
  • Advise on prioritization of analytics initiatives, change management, and user adoption.
  • Define analytics strategy and enable data‑driven decisions through stakeholder engagement.
  • Coordinate stakeholders to deliver outputs for compliant, scalable mission support.

ProSidian seeks an Analytics Consulting Lead (Data Management & Business Intelligence) – Analytics Consulting & Business Needs Analysis (NSF0130130). The role is based in the Mid‑Atlantic Region (Alexandria, VA) and supports Human Capital analytics and IT modernization for federal agencies, including the National Science Foundation (NSF).

We are looking for candidates with relevant government and public‑services sector experience, functional and technical area expertise, to support professional services engagements for clients such as NSF.

Job Overview
  • Deliver innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency through digital transformation and process automation;
  • Enhance data‑driven decision‑making using role‑based advanced analytics and business intelligence;
  • Support regulatory compliance and adherence to federal human‑capital management policies;
  • Facilitate seamless integration of IT systems and workforce‑planning tools;
  • Optimize service delivery through performance‑based outcomes and SLAs.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct systematic analysis of business needs across NSF divisions and directorates, including stakeholder interviews and process mapping;

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of analytics consulting experience in a federal environment;
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Analytics, Business, or Data Science;
  • Skilled in business analysis, analytics strategy, stakeholder engagement, critical thinking, communication, facilitation, and project‑management methodologies;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), Adobe Acrobat, data‑analytic tools, Visio, and the ability to learn additional tools quickly;
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, time‑management, prioritization, and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail;
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for effective team management;
  • U.S. citizenship required. No visa sponsorship.
  • Background and drug testing required.
