Job summary

Axalta Coating Systems Ltd. is seeking an Analytical Technician Contractor at our Global Innovation Center in Philadelphia, PA. The role supports R&D, product development, and commercial operations by performing laboratory testing and operating advanced instruments.

You will analyze data, prepare samples, and contribute to the characterization of coatings and polymer systems while adhering to quality and EHS standards. The position emphasizes collaboration and timely delivery across projects.

Qualifications

• AA/AS in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field required.
• BS in Chemistry/Materials Science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples, standards, and test materials for analytical characterization.
• Operate and maintain analytical instruments to evaluate composition, structure, and properties of coatings and polymeric materials.
• Analyze data and communicate results via reports, presentations, and electronic data management systems.
• Perform routine instrument calibration, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
• Adhere to laboratory quality standards, regulatory requirements, and EHS policies.
• Support multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
