Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in chemistry or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years in R&D, battery testing or chemical/materials lab preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiar with ERP and LIMS systems; safety and quality oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical material characterization testing notably ICP-OES, XRF, IC and various titrations.
• May collect or log in samples for testing.
• Solve technical problems related to routine testing.
• Follow test plans and protocols.
• Analyze tests results and report results/conclusions.
• Performs troubleshooting on lab equipment as required.
• Report test progress to management
• Observe all safety and environmental regulations.
• Assist with waste and chemical management in the lab.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures.
