Job summary

Duke Health is seeking an Analytical Specialist with Point of Care Testing at Duke Raleigh Hospital to oversee technical activities within a Clinical Laboratories segment. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Medical Technology with 3–5 years of lab experience and MT certification; SBB is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field.
• Three to five years of laboratory experience.
• Certification in Medical Technology and/or Specialist in Blood Banking (SBB) would be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and coordinate technical activities in a specific segment of the Clinical Laboratories.
• Develop and implement quality control programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and instruction to personnel; conduct trainings and workshops.
• Assist in planning staffing and preparing reports and analyses.
• Support development and implementation of testing methods and new equipment.
