Job summary

Eurofins Professional Scientific Services is seeking a detail-oriented scientist to support an Analytical Development client team for oligonucleotide and mRNA-LNP product characterization. You will design and execute molecular biology and cell-based assays, analyze data, troubleshoot, and contribute to method development, qualification, validation, and transfer.

The role requires independence, collaboration, and high scientific quality, with a Monday–Friday schedule in the Boston, MA area.

Qualifications

B.S. with 3+ years of industry experience or M.S. with 1+ years, in related fields.
Hands-on lab skills: pipetting, sample prep, safe handling of biological/chemical materials.
Experience with nucleic acid assays (qPCR, RT-qPCR, dPCR, ddPCR) including primer/probe design.
Proficiency in immunoassays (ELISA, MSD).
Experience planning experiments, data analysis, troubleshooting, and documenting work.
GDP/GLP awareness and proficiency with MS Office and data-analysis tools.
U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, optimize, and execute molecular biology and cell-based assays.
Plan and perform experiments with minimal supervision; analyze data and report results.
Contribute to method development, qualification, validation, and transfer.
Troubleshoot and improve assay performance and lab workflows.
Translate assignments into objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
Maintain electronic lab records accurately and promptly.
Prepare/review protocols, SOPs, reports, and regulatory content as needed.
Communicate results and risks through reports and discussions.
Collaborate with colleagues and external partners; promote knowledge sharing.
Support lab operations, including equipment readiness, reagent management, and GDP/GLP compliance.
Evaluate literature and new analytical approaches to strengthen capabilities.
