Job summary

Phillips 66 is seeking a Scientist I, Research focused on Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry at the Bartlesville Research Center. You’ll work with scientists and technicians, applying GC/LC/MS to turn data into practical analytical solutions that support safety, reliability, and growth.

The role requires a chemistry/physics/material science background, and hands-on experience in chromatographic and mass spectrometry techniques, including method development and data interpretation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor-level degree in chemistry, physics, material science or related field.
  • 2+ years hands-on Chromatography or Mass Spectrometry experience.
  • 2+ years experimental design, method development, translating results to solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research using chromatography and mass spectrometry data to identify insights.
  • Plan and execute experiments with GC, LC, MS and related tools.
  • Develop analytical specs, experimental designs, and manage samples.
