Join our dynamic team as an Analytical Scientist, where you will work in partnership with Customers and our Sales team to provide insights on product technology and applications by assisting in data collection, lab testing, records maintenance, report preparation, and daily lab operations.

What You'll do as an Analytical Scientist
  • Design, conduct and oversee experiments, working independently to interpret data and determine further experiments. Identifies areas for improvement with regard to methods and designs and validates new testing methods. Maintains records, prepares reports, provides recommendations and makes presentations at internal and external meetings.
  • Under general guidance of the Manager, provide telephone support, written correspondence, literature, lab analysis, analytical support, assistance with field trials and direct field support to Customers in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry, and the sales organization. Perform assigned tasks related to product applications, correct use of product or providing background information or analytical support.
  • Assists in daily lab operations duties including maintenance of quality control records, writing standard operating procedures for lab maintenance, equipment operations and maintenance of systems. Assists in maintaining lab inventory.
  • Assist in generating, updating, and coordinating technical support data for the product line.
  • Support compliance with government regulations by applying safety policies and procedures.
The Experience, Abilities and Skills Needed:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline- Chemistry or Biology highly preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of laboratory experience
  • Analytical Chemistry background desirable, including Method Development and Method Validation
  • Practical working knowledge of FDA GLP and GMP requirements; microbial or cleaning validation practices, and working knowledge of HPLC, TOC swab recovery and residue limit strategies employed in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Advanced computer skills, including experience with Excel, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Demonstrates strong Customer and service orientation with ability to effectively utilize resources for technical information as needed.
  • Uses demonstrated organizational skills, solid judgment, and ability to think analytically.
  • Protect confidential information by properly storing, retrieving, and disseminating such information only to those authorized.
  • Act with integrity, thrives on innovation and continuous improvement and has a genuine commitment to the success of the team.
  • Ensure defect-free workmanship, searches for efficient and effective ways to reduce waste, and assists others to meet the Customer’s needs with a sense of urgency.

Pay range for this opportunity is$67,362.50-$87,175.00. This position is eligible forbonus participation.

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
