Within R&D Analytical Sciences, you'll play a critical role in supporting the development, testing, and lifecycle management of OTC medicines, wellness products, cosmetics, and medical devices. The team provides analytical expertise that helps ensure product quality, stability, and performance across our portfolio.This role is ideal for someone with hands-on analytical chemistry experience who enjoys solving technical problems, interpreting complex data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You'll work primarily within separation science, using analytical techniques to support method validation, method transfer, stability testing, and product development activities while helping deliver innovation across our consumer healthcare portfolio.### Responsibilities* Execute analytical testing and characterization activities using HPLC and other separation science techniques.* Support analytical method validation and transfer activities for new and existing products.* Independently perform testing, evaluate results, and document scientific work in accordance with GMP and R&D requirements.* Investigate atypical analytical results, support laboratory investigations, and contribute to technical problem-solving activities.* Collaborate with Formulation, Quality, and cross-functional teams to support product development and lifecycle projects.* Troubleshoot analytical methods and instrumentation while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.* Review analytical data and reports to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance.* Communicate technical findings through presentations, reports, and project team discussions.### Essential Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.* Hands-on experience with HPLC and separation science techniques.* Experience supporting analytical method validation and/or method transfer activities.* Experience working in a GMP or similarly regulated laboratory environment.* Ability to independently execute testing, analyze data, and solve technical problems.### Preferred Qualifications* 2+ years of analytical chemistry experience within the pharmaceutical, consumer healthcare, biotechnology, or related industry.* Experience with analytical method development.* Experience with GC, spectroscopy, or other analytical characterization techniques.* Experience supporting stability testing, laboratory investigations, or OOS investigations.* Master's or PhD in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Separation Science, or a related scientific field.### LocationThis role is located in Richmond, VA and requires approximately 4-5 days per week onsite due to the laboratory-based nature of the work.### The Salary Range for This Role Is:**$87,654.70 - $120,523.70 plus an 8% on-target bonus.**### BenefitsHaleon offers a robust Total Reward package that consists of competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits program.
