Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Execute sample testing using LC methods (HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS) and other assays.
  • Prepare samples, standards, controls, and reagents for analytical testing.
  • Organize, interpret, and present experimental data to peers.
  • Ensure experiments are designed and documented per SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with scientists and cross-functional teams to share learnings.

Join our mission to continuously move science forward; to innovate and advance all aspects of our business to improve the health and safety of our communities and lives.OverviewThis lab-based role will provide hands-on support for routine pharmaceutical analytical testing through the execution of critical experiments that drive animal health product development.Compensation: $21.00 - $25.00 per hourResponsibilities:Execute sample testing using analytical techniques including, but not limited to, liquid chromatography (LC) methods such as HPLC, UPLC, and LC-MS, as well as SEC, cIEF, and SDS assaysPrepare samples, standards, controls, and reagents required for analytical testingPerform accurate, precise, and reproducible pipetting to support high-quality analytical testingOrganize, interpret, and present experimental data to peers to support project advancementRun, analyze, and evaluate experiments that support analytical method optimization and product development objectivesEnsure experiments are well designed and documented with clear objectivesTechnically manage small-scale laboratory projects as requiredIdentify process improvement opportunities through data analysis, observation, and technical report writing in collaboration with senior scientists and techniciansOrganize and execute routine experimental work in accordance with established methods, SOPs, and applicable regulatory guidelinesEnsure high-quality data and documentation practices by authoring technical reports and contributing to the creation of SOPsIndependently operate and perform basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment relevant to assigned workRecognize and communicate atypical results/deviations and support investigation and resolution as neededAccurately document work in batch records and/or electronic laboratory notebooksCollaborate with scientists and cross-functional teams to share key learnings to advance portfolio projects and drive new platform innovationsAdapt to new procedures and evolving project needs in a dynamic R&D environmentMaintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory work environment and encourage safe behaviors by coworkersContribute to a cohesive team environment and maintain a positive attitudeQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or a related scientific disciplineAbility to perform high-volume, accurate, and reproducible pipettingStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, technical curiosity, and high learning agilityAbility to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional teamsEffective written and verbal communication skills for documenting and presenting technical dataSolid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver resultsDemonstrated ownership with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficientlyInterest in pharmaceutical science and drug product manufacturing with a willingness to learn and grow in this areaAdditional Preferences:Hands-on experience with liquid chromatography (LC) techniques, including HPLC, UPLC, and LC-MSKnowledge of SEC, cIEF, SDS assays, and other biopharmaceutical analytical techniquesFamiliarity with chromatography data systems and analytical data interpretationAbility to interpret analytical data and identify atypical results, trends, or deviationsExperience supporting analytical method optimization, qualification, or transfer activitiesUnderstanding of analytical method performance characteristics, including precision, accuracy, reproducibility, and variability assessmentsDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, team-oriented environmentSelf-motivated and able to work with minimal supervisionFind Your Place at Pace - We need you - your curiosity, your talents, and your drive - to help us advance this important work.BenefitsWhen you join Pace, you commit to work that makes a positive impact on our communities and our world.
