Job summary

Pace Analytical Services LLC in Indianapolis seeks an Analytical Chemist to support our client lab testing with foundational chemistry skills and hands-on laboratory work. This full-time position offers opportunities to contribute to accurate analyses and data integrity.

You will document results, troubleshoot equipment, and collaborate with the team to ensure safe, compliant operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemistry or related science field, 0–3 years experience.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency required.
• Preferred: MS degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Molecular Biology; experience with HPLC, ELISA, PCR, and cell culture.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and conducts routine analyses in line with methods and SOPs.
• Documents work and maintains lab records.
• Troubleshoots basic lab equipment and software; learns routine maintenance.
• Participates in project meetings and supports team workload.
• Maintains safe, clean lab environment and communicates data deviations.

Join our mission to continuously move science forward; to innovate and advance all aspects of our business to improve the health and safety of our communities and lives.OverviewSeeking an Analytical Chemist to support our client's lab testing needs with some relevant laboratory experience.Compensation: $22.00 - 24.00 per hourResponsibilitiesOrganizes and conducts routine analyses independently and in compliance with applicable methods, protocols, SOPs and regulatory agency guidelinesDocuments work and maintains study documentation and laboratory recordsIndependently able to use and perform basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and software appropriate for assigned tasks, while learning to perform routine and non-routine maintenanceProvides input and participates in project meetingsPerforms assigned workload on a daily basis and effectively completes multiple assignments.Contributes to a cohesive team environment and maintains a positive attitude.
