Job summary

Polysciences, Inc. is seeking an experienced Analytical R&D Supervisor to lead our analytical team in a state-of-the-art facility.

You will develop, document, and validate reproducible analytical methods and work closely with R&D synthesis to improve products and processes. The role requires a PhD in Chemistry and 3+ years of method development in ISO environments, with hands-on instrument expertise (LCMS, GCMS, NMR, GPC, FTIR, DSC, TGA, Viscometers).

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry – Organic chemistry or Analytical chemistry preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience developing and validating analytical methods in ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 environments.
• 3+ years’ experience leading a team of analytical scientists.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 2–4 analytical chemists developing and validating cGMP analytical methods.
• Collaborate with R&D synthesis chemists to improve reactions and processes.
• Prepare method development reports and validation protocols.
• Manage project timelines and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Identify and procure instruments to expand analytical capabilities.
