Job summary

Kelly Science and Clinical is seeking an Analytical R&D Scientist for a 12-month engagement at a Global consumer product and pharmaceutical client in Summit, NJ. The role offers medical benefits, PTO including vacation and holidays, and 401K.

The Expert team at Hiring Experts supports your next career step. The AR&D Scientist will develop analytical and bioanalytical methods for new compounds in Skin Health, support IVPT, and perform analyses using HPLC-MS, HPLC-UV, or HPLC-CAD.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s in Chemistry or related field with GxP experience.
Hands-on HPLC-MS method development and validation in biological matrices.
Experience with HPLC-UV, HPLC-CAD, GC-MS; SEM-EDS, TGA/DSC a plus.
Knowledge of IVPT and formulation screening; data documentation.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate results.

Responsibilities

Perform analytical testing including sample preparation and HPLC-MS method development/validation.
Develop methods for material characterization using HPLC-UV, HPLC-CAD, HPLC-MS, and GC-MS.
Maintain compliance with EHS and document lab activities.
Participate in projects and technical meetings; follow SOPs and diaries.
Ensure timely documentation in instrument logbooks and use EMPOWER3 and MS Office.
Meet deadlines for sample testing and communicate results.
