Job summary

Tris Pharma, Inc. is seeking Analytical Research & Development Scientists at multiple levels for our Monmouth Junction, NJ lab. The role involves performing analyses of IP, FP and ST samples, instrument maintenance, and contributing to method development under supervision.

The position requires degrees in chemistry or related fields and experience in analytical/method development or validation. Salary is commensurate with experience; travel and other benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science field with 3+ years in analytical/method development or validation; or Master's with 0-3 years; or PhD with 0-1 years in related field.

Responsibilities

• Operates analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, UV/Vis, IR, TLC, titration, dissolution, ICP-MS, LC-MS) to support sample testing.
• Performs analytical method development and troubleshooting for IP, FP and ST samples.
• Designs and executes physical characterization studies to aid product understanding.
• Supports product development through reverse engineering studies of Reference Listed Drug (RLD).
• Performs pre-formulation studies in collaboration with PD, and documents results and protocols.
