Catalent is seeking an Associate Scientist 1, Analytical Research & Development in St. Petersburg, FL to support development milestones. You will perform testing, prepare reagents, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards in a 100% onsite role.

The position offers collaboration with analytical teams, exposure to a range of instrumentation, and career development within a global drug development leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a scientific field is required.
• Associate in Science degree with 5+ years in an analytical GMP lab is acceptable.
• Ability to sit/stand and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Willingness to work with potential hazards using PPE.
• Vision requirements include color differentiation and computer use.

Responsabilités

• Support analytical scientists to complete milestones for development programs.
• Perform compendial and non-compendial testing on raw materials, drug substances, in-process samples, cleaning samples, and finished products as required.
• Prepare chemistry reagents, standards, media, and mobile phase for analyses.
• Work with potent and teratogenic compounds using proper PPE.
• Dispose of hazardous waste according to environmental regulations and procedures.
• Tabulate results in notebooks, reports, and logbooks with right-first-time execution.
