Job summary

Nature's Sunshine is seeking a Research Scientist to develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods across raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products. You will design experiments, prepare documentation, and collaborate with Quality and cross-functional teams to ensure reliable testing.

The role requires hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC, LC-MS, GC/GC-MS, and UV-Vis spectroscopy, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience in analytical method development, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on with HPLC/UPLC, LC-MS, GC/GC-MS and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
  • Knowledge of analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, statistics, laboratory systems, and chromatographic software; OpenLab preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; knowledge of botanical or natural products preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, validate, and transfer analytical methods for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
  • Design and execute experiments to support method development and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and maintain method procedures, validation protocols, technical reports, and controlled documentation in quality systems.
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and support to Quality and cross-functional teams.
  • Troubleshoot analytical methods, instrumentation, and software to ensure reliable performance.
