Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food science or a related science field with 3+ years in a food industry or analytical lab.
• Experience including reagent preparation, controls, reference materials, and accurate documentation.
• Ability to independently address assay and sample anomalies; strong multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Perform confidential analysis for trace amounts of allergenic foods using immunochemical methods.
• Maintain detailed documentation, identify extraction procedures, perform method evaluations and related lab tasks.
• Assist in client and accreditation audits to help maintain the lab’s ISO 17025 accreditation.
