Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Lab Technician for a 12-month contract in Madison Heights, MI. The role focuses on operating and maintaining analytical equipment, keeping methods up to date, and generating customer reports.

You will work closely with major project teams, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while handling digital tools such as LIMS and statistical software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry required; lab experience preferred.
• Experience in analytical labs is highly desirable.
• Good wet chemistry skills: titration, filtration, dilution, extraction, gravimetric determinations.
• Knowledge of GC-FID, ICP, IC, SEM/EDS is desirable.
• PHS and ion-selective meters experience beneficial.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment; strong attention to detail.
• Solid interpersonal and PC skills; accurate data handling.

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform routine maintenance of analytical equipment.
• Maintain analytical methods and procedures.
• Contribute to major Henkel project teams and reporting.
• Prepare quality customer reports and manage project portfolios.
