Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Assay Laboratory Technician for the Turquoise Ridge Analytical Lab. The role focuses on preparing ore, process, and exploration samples, and requires performing fire assay and wet laboratory tasks with various analytical instruments.

Ideal candidates bring lab exposure, safety focus, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The position involves a rotating schedule of nights and days within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in an analytical laboratory.
• Familiarity with chemicals and laboratory procedures preferred.
• Computer operation knowledge required.
• Strong safety and attendance record expected.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Self-sufficient and able to prioritize a heavy workload.
• Effective communication with peers in a team environment required.
• Must work a rotating schedule of nights and days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ore, process, and exploration samples.
• Perform fire assay, wet laboratory work, and operate analytical instrumentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
