Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing is hiring a laboratory technician to support daily assaying of samples, weigh and prepare solutions, and maintain accurate records in a compliant environment.

The role emphasizes adherence to ISO 17025 guidelines, health and safety, and strong communication with the team. Candidates should have a High School diploma and 0–3 years of experience, with a commitment to quality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of ISO 17025 guidelines.
• High School diploma with 0-3 years experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Responsive, independent problem solver and action oriented.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow Quality System documents relevant to responsibilities (ISO/IEC 17025, SOPs, Methods).
• Assist in the daily assaying of samples and perform testing from a daily work list.
• Set up batches of samples to weigh and weigh samples.
• Identify from samples assayed the need for rechecks and record data.
• Prepare solutions used in daily testing and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain a safe, clean laboratory and dispose of hazardous wastes per procedures.
• Enter data into the logbook or eLIMS accurately and timely.
• Report method/matrix/analytic difficulties to supervisor with proposed solutions.
• Promote the company image through ethical business practices.
