Job summary

G-Tech Services LLC is seeking a laboratory technician to support process chemistry development through routine analyses and data evaluation. You will prepare samples, calibrate instrumentation, and help maintain systems while reporting results to clients.

The role may involve limited remote work options and requires basic statistical interpretation. Qualifications include a high school diploma with lab or related experience, plus chemistry coursework.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus laboratory, manufacturing or related experience.
• Post upper secondary coursework in chemistry or related field.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine analyses.
• Collects samples according to the Sample Plan.
• Prepares basic calibration standards.
• Performs basic calibration and preventative maintenance of analytical systems.
• Evaluates validity of data, applies basic statistics, interprets results and takes action.
• Monitors analytical systems, identifies problems, conducts first-line troubleshooting and escalates as needed.
• Documents, communicates and archives analytical results and calibration data.
• Follows EH&S and ODMS procedures for tasks.
• Suggests improvements to lab processes and tools.
• Escalates non-routine requests to appropriate team member for follow-up.
