Job summary

Yoh presents an excellent long-term Research Associate (Analytical Technician) opportunity with a trusted client in Waltham, MA. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 7am-8am start with an 8-hour shift and may require occasional evenings or overtime due to projects.

Responsibilities include executing test methods, documenting results, reviewing data, and maintaining cell cultures. Bachelor’s in biological sciences is required with 0–2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences.
• 0–2 years in life sciences/pharma.
• Strong documentation practices.
• Experience in QC/analytical testing per procedures.
• Experience with biological/cell-based assays including PCR/NGS.
• Automation platform experience.
• BSL-2 biosafety knowledge.
• Experience with cell culture and analytical platforms.

Responsibilities

• Execute test methods per procedures and schedules.
• Maintain test docs and assay databases for control monitoring.
• Review test data for conformance to method criteria and control ranges.
• Report out-of-spec results and support investigations and corrective actions.
• Manage training plans and documentation sign-off.
• Maintain analytical cell cultures.
• Support maintenance of lab infrastructure and inventories for reagents and standards.
• Comply with HSE systems and BSL-2 controls.
• Occasional weekend/holiday work as needed.
