BSK Associates is seeking a Project Coordinator I for our Sacramento Analytical Laboratory team. This full-time, in-person role will support clients, coordinate projects, and liaise with the laboratory to ensure timely, accurate results.

You will assist with orders, tracking, and invoicing while providing guidance on sample handling and reporting. The position offers competitive benefits and an employee‑owned environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related science field.
• 2+ years of experience in environmental laboratory or equivalent.
• Analytical instrumentation experience preferred.
• Lab environment experience may substitute education at Lab Director’s discretion.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with questions and project needs; manage client projects.
• Take orders from clients and communicate requirements to the lab.
• Inform clients of project status and any analytical issues.
• Provide technical guidance on sample preservation and reporting.
• Coordinate with Project Manager(s) and handle project tasks.
• Prepare and review invoices and ensure accurate billing for work performed.
• Back-up Project Manager and provide CS department support when needed.
• Collaborate with other lab staff and departments to ensure smooth operations.
