Job summary

Amneal is seeking a mid-level Scientist-2 to support analytical development for oral dosage forms. The role involves method qualification/validation, analysis of APIs, excipients, and finished dosage forms, and maintaining analytical equipment in a cGMP environment.

The candidate should have 3+ years pharma experience with a Bachelor's degree or 1+ year with a Master's, plus experience with HPLC, GC, TLC, MS, and SOP writing. Strong communication and teamwork skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science required.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical experience with Bachelor's degree.
• 1+ year of pharma experience with Master's degree.
• Experience in cGMP laboratory testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs analysis and release of APIs, excipients, in-process materials, and finished drug products in support of formulation development.
• Develops and validates analytical methods for qualification and release testing.
• Provides timely responses to internal and external inquiries.
• Ensures deadlines and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Evaluates and implements new analytical technologies and instrumentation.
• Assists with training other members of the analytical development team.
