Job summary

Actalent's Verona, WI laboratory is seeking an Analytical Development Chemist to support GMP and R&D projects, performing impurity testing, method development, transfer and validation on raw materials and finished products.

You will operate HPLC and GC, run dissolution tests, document work under GMP, train on wet chemistry techniques, and collaborate with a small team in a modern, open lab that values problem-solving and scientific writing growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related life science.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing on raw materials and finished products.
• Operate and maintain HPLC systems for method execution and data generation.
• Run dissolution testing and interpret results per established methods.
• Perform GC testing as needed for finished product analyses.
• Conduct impurity testing and contribute to impurity profiling understanding.
• Participate in method development, verification, transfer and validation.
• Document all lab work clearly under GMP.
• Collaborate with a small team of chemists and share workload.
• Train on raw material testing using titrators and wet chemistry techniques.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and quality control standards.
