Job summary

Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking an Analytical Day 1 Chemist in New York to support clinical testing of pharmaceutical products and ensure high-quality laboratory operations. You will gather data, review results, and maintain calibration while complying with regulatory standards.

The role requires a Chemistry degree with relevant lab experience and US work authorization. The position is full-time, 1st shift, on-site in New York.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry with lab experience.
• Experience with analytical instrumentation and good documentation.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical testing of pharmaceutical products
• Gather, document, and review analytical data and test results
• Ensure test results meet standards and report anomalies
• Comply with regulatory and compliance requirements
• Complete test records and review supporting docs
• Calibrate instruments or verify calibration before use
• Maintain laboratory supplies and organization
• Participate in required training
• Interact with customers and internal teams
• Assist with method qualification and validation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience, OR;
• Master's degree in Chemistry with relevant laboratory experience
• Experience with HPLC, LC-MS, and/or UV-Vis spectroscopy
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

• Position is full-time, schedule is 1st Shift, Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
