Job summary

Phlow Corporation is seeking an analytical chemist to provide analytical chemistry support, develop and validate methods, and support FDA-regulated API development and CDMO projects. The role reports to Senior Director, Analytical Chemistry and emphasizes safety, integrity, and collaboration.

The candidate will manage analytical tasks with minimal supervision, coordinate external labs, and generate technical reports and regulatory documents while meeting cGXP requirements.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in chemistry, pharmaceutics, or related field.
• 1–3 years’ experience in analytical method development, validation, and FDA-regulated API/drug product development.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, Excel, Visio, and SharePoint.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Broad range of analytical chemistry, compound purification, spectral analysis/interpretation.
• Experience with HPLC, LC/MS, GC, GC/MS, KF, LOD, DSC, TGA, NMR, UV, LC-MS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analytical method development, validation, and project support.
• Identify technical challenges and perform troubleshooting.
• Manage CMO/CRO analytical project resources as needed.
• Provide data production, review, analysis, and interpretation with scientific rigor.
• Author and review technical reports, regulatory submissions, SOPs, validation protocols.
• Ensure activities comply with cGXP and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day laboratory activities for analytical equipment.
• Plan studies in accordance with standards to facilitate product development.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and vendor relations.
